Five acres of property management is hard for everyone but electronics systems more robust to handle, so when the owners of this award-winning space established contact with professionals in the electronics (CE) of Casaplex, Kensington, MD., to prepare your garden for summer parties, make sense to choose powerful products that could easily entertain a crowd for hours and without effortShow the elegant features of the expansive area.
Casaplex put a Crestron control system in charge of the functions of extensive lighting, which includes colors of fiber optic lighting in and around two pools, projectors for security, dozens of landscape lights and spotlights to illuminate a shot. Using a portable Panel Crestron Touch or a version of wall in the poolhouse, owners can turn on and turn off selected lights and participate especially programmed scenes to complement activities such as outdoor parties, dinners in the poolhouse and an afternoon dip in the pool. When the fun outdoor activities, with a single touch of a button is turned off every light, but in a way that will not ever let owners or guests in the dark.
"The main house sits about 300 feet from the poolhouse, so we program the Crestron system wait five minutes after the push button to start slowly fades out of the path of lights that leads to the House," says principal Casaplex and CEO Derek Goldstein.
Outdoor lights are just as easily controlling Crestron touchpanels inside the House and also allow the owners of all the preparation area before leaving. A waterfall spilling a grotto can be activated and adjusted slide slowly to a torrential downpour; Meanwhile, music and video can go from a huge media library inside the House until a set of external speakers and 60 inch Samsung TV in the poolhouse.
Music complements the water and lighting a big scenes. To reach corners of the yard and everywhere in between, elected Casaplex install speakers usually reserved for use in stadiums and other large venues. According to Goldstein, homeowners didn't cause damage to the yard with dozens of speakers small landscape, so 10 speaker JBL Pro Powerpuff, commercial grade were used instead. Led by the professional Crown amps and placed and properly calibrated, they have muscle audio to reach the 500 meter archery range. "These are the types of speakers that would be used for parties of 100 people or more. They make the backyard sound as if you are in a concert, "says Goldstein.
Four of the 10 speakers were installed in a stone wall that covers the front part of the poolhouse. the other six were mounted to the eaves of the House. To protect the speakers mounted in the wall of the elements, each one was stuck in a cavity specially built by mason of the project. Cabling, a wiring difference is impervious to the rays, feeds of audio sources from the House to the speakers and two subwoofers of Velodyne, which are tucked in a stone bench near fiber optic. The final touch: speaker grilles to match the stone.
Safe travel Audio
The owner of this space in the open air had already furnished interior of his house with a wide variety of audio and video components. During a renovation of the yard, decided to extend the A / V to the pool, Grotto, tyre and poolhouse, covering five hectares. That's a lot of ground to cover and a huge distance to the audio and video signals travel. Taking into account the stringent conditions to the outdoors, the size of the yard and the distance between the home and the speakers to TV and outdoor, wiring fiber optic was the path to follow, says Goldstein of Casaplex. "In addition to fiber transmission speed is less than 10 to 100 times faster than copper and collects no interference," music and video signals remain strong and pure, and allow that JBL professional speakers perform their full potential. Expect to pay at least four times more fiber than coax, but for longer runs cables and fast, reliable signal transmission, is often worth worth the additional cost, says Goldstein.
