Soaked in grease paint and Spanish light

The design of Roth's home, Mr Legorreta Mr. was Barragan use of grand sculptural forms, Brise-Soleil walls and roofs, and signature open stairs, hot light and shadow on a highly customized color palette of purple, red, pink, blue, are bright yellow and mustard.

The Roths asked Mr Legorreta create a "sculptural landmark design", stating only the number of rooms and the property should be easy to clean.
