When you move to the West Coast, I noticed liberal term "cab" when using any person referred to a place to stay during a tour of Tahoe.? Being somewhat of a literalist klutz, I raised visions of what Webster designates as "small houses roughly" that dot the forests surrounding the Lake.
Soon, I took on the fact that "cab", "lodge" or "bungalow", according to native and tenured Tahoe-ites, could very well be a free interpretation of any place to stay - ranging from actual terms definitions; to ultra-modern ski-in/ski-out condominiums. to 10 000 domains feet square at the edge of the Lake.? ?This evoked childhood memories of the term "camp" and "cottage" to describe a similar range of the "places to stay" along the coast is.
In 2004, I met a woman of 78 years, who spoke about his charming Lake Tahoe home as "the hut".? Cabin located just a breath from the shore and is filled with beautiful decorations.
"It wasn't always here, you see," said.? When my father began first brings us here, I was just a girl, aged nine years.? We would arrive using the single track dirt road which is now West Lake Boulevard.? We slept under the stars on wood platforms bit that we had done.? With every trip to this place, we would create a little more of this House - kinda both, "she recalled.? "Shack" itself, as well as its beautiful interior, was designed without electric saws or drills - instead, carved out of nothing more than the spirits of the family, hands and hearts.? "My life is filled with wonderful memories of this place."? More that recalling this story, she smiled it.
It is there that these less-than-representative terms has truly began to make sense: "cab", "cottage", "camper" and others do not describe the structure at all.? They describe the comfortable, easy feeling that is felt in the presence of family and friends; authentic life experiences; and unconditional friendship and love.
Many of our homes offered as a seasonal rental has similar stories: the owners with impeccable taste who above all, cherish the time well with the family.
'The Cottage', for example, is available to rent for the first time.? Its location at the edge of the Lake, 7 rooms and opulent style invite to a multi-generational family reunion.
"The carousel" follows this recipe too.? Steeped in history dating back to the California gold rush, not necessarily find a ride to this estate on the edge of the Lake; but they feel like children again while wandering through the arched House threshold leading to the gardens, patio stone manufactured by hand and lawn that runs along the towering Jeffrey pine, vanilla scent.
Noted, a Pavilion is "a rustic House or a shack housing seasonal or temporary;" ?However, 'apres-ski Lodge in Northstar offers year-round heat - a haven of beauty modern-mountain, hoping that the children and the young at heart visits Cook to S'mores, tell ghost stories around the corner of the fire and its door slopeside ski to create a memorable day for generations.
One could assume same term than Tahoe Luxury Properties, 'Holiday' share in this theory. ? ?Less than descriptions of the houses, they are terms of Endearment. ?So direct, lodge!? Hooray, Cottages!? And the cheers, chalets and Bungalows!? There are many more with magical names.? One that suits you?
