All creative minds dream a distant study with just enough furniture elements, to trigger the feeling of comfort. This is the case with the writer's Studio below by SMNG-A presented to architects in lakeside, Michigan, United States and discovered on ArchDaily. Part of a larger property, including a main building completed in 1986 and large green areas, the 448-square serves rectangle-shaped apartment for visitors who come on weekends.

The project is organized on two levels, and according to the architect of its form was inspired by a painting by Anselm Kiefer: "the lower level includes a two-story entry space, sleep, niche, laundry, toilet and shower. A staircase leads to an upper level study and hems. The Guest House is turned by 90 degrees, through his Foundation to create cantilevered corners that hover just above the ground. "Transferred to a small tree offered the splicing of the corners of a unique way to enter and the inner light". The layout is particularly interesting, such as those in the House plans, which can see attached at the end of the message. [Photography: Tom Rossiter]
